Themed Photo Shoot For A Ceremony

Why would anyone want to do a themed shoot BEFORE a wedding or ceremony? If you are creative and like to think outside the box then you know there are more ways to show your guests your appreciation at an event than a simple party favor.

Some Ideas:

  • Reenacting how the two of you met till the day HE or SHE proposed. Stage poses in locations that are where you met or places close to what it looked like! Spotlight big moments in your life to be framed as centerpieces on the tables, a slideshow or for a ceremonial invitation or program.

  • Put a little humor, fun or romance into your event by placing a 8.5 x 5.5 or 8.5 x 11 faux magazine at each reception chair for your guests to enjoy and take home. Take photos for the cover then add in social media screen shots with comments and information on how you met and information about the couple from family and friends.

  • Create a fun slideshow like a "Shot Gun Wedding" with instrumental music and fun "cue card" slides your guests can read in-between the images like a silent movie for a vintage feel.

  • Create your own wine or cider bottle labels. You can have images for all sorts of labels to place on a multitude of items related to your theme.

  • Invite guests to your wedding using images, props and chalkboards like frames of a film. Not all invitations have to be mailed. Some can be artfully made to be sent via email or place on a social media page or website. With a Facebook event page, guests can interact. Save money to use for your honeymoon or future home!
